[November 2025] – Vinventions, a global leader in innovative wine closure solutions, announces the launch of NOMACORC nolow, the first closure specifically designed for no- and low-alcohol wines and beverages. This innovation debuts with the Cuvée Six from the Cave des Vignerons de Pierrevert (Petra Viridis), the first partially dealcoholized wine to be sealed with this new solution.

A high-potential market with unique technical demands

The No/Low segment is growing at a double-digit pace in Europe, but presents specific technical challenges:

  • Dealcoholized wines are up to 50 times more sensitive to TCA – the molecule responsible for cork taint – than traditional wines, with a detection threshold of 0.03 ng/L versus 1.4 ng/L.
  • Their delicate aromatic profile requires extremely low oxygen permeability to prevent oxidation.

Until now, most of the market has relied on screw caps. But for producers seeking a premium positioning, the cylindrical closure remains a distinctive and value-adding choice.

The Cave des Vignerons de Pierrevert (Petra Viridis) is launching the new closure with its Cuvée Six, a partially dealcoholized rosé made from the Muscat de Hambourg grape.
