In 2024, TUTIAC launched its project « HELP PROTECT THE OCEAN » and chose Vinventions to protect the 3 wines in its 100% eco-designed range with the NOMACORC Ocean closure, made from plastic waste collected near the oceans. This initiative sends a powerful message: let’s work together to clean up the oceans!

Vinventions, committed since its inception to producing innovative and sustainable closure solutions, is proud to support TUTIAC in its “HELP PROTECT THE OCEAN” initiative with its closure made from plastic waste collected near oceans. These plastics, referred to as “Ocean Bound Plastic (OBP)” pose a significant risk of migrating and permanently polluting the oceans. That’s why, through this initiative, TUTIAC is acting at the source of ocean pollution, leveraging Vinventions’ expertise and its NOMACORC Ocean closure, which gives a second life to plastic waste by using this recycled OBP as raw material. This encourages the collection of such waste and helps to reduce the damage done to the oceans. Each “Help Protect the Ocean” bottle sold funds the collection of the equivalent of one plastic bag (8g of plastic) from coastal environments.

Launched in 2023, NOMACORC Ocean will seal the three wines in TUTIAC’s 100% eco-designed range, which includes lighter bottles, labels made from recycled paper produced in France, sustainable caps made from sugarcane waste printed with water-based inks, and compostable shipping cartons.
